If you choose to study in the humanities, social sciences, sciences, and arts as an undergraduate, your personal interactions with faculty are akin to attending a small liberal arts institution, but with the advantage of added learning and opportunities to do research in a technology-rich environment that values immersing all students into the intersections of science, engineering, arts and business. In addition to faculty advising from within your major, undergraduate students interested in graduate school for professional programs have access to special advising programs with faculty and staff well versed in the admission requirements, graduate entrance exams and overall skills preparation.
The University's ROTC programs which include the US Army ROTC under the department of Military Science and US Air Force ROTC under the department of Air, Space, and Cyberspace studies are also part of the School of Arts & Sciences.
