Clarkson Athletics

Clarkson has 19 men's and women's varsity teams, along with numerous intramural and club sports and a wide variety of outdoor activities for the nature lover. After a long day in the classroom, the Clarkson campus offers all kinds of opportunities to run, jump, dive, kick and swing. Our fiercely fun, not-so-competitive intramural teams attract more than 80 percent of Clarkson students. Clarkson intramural teams compete in soccer, football, broomball, 3-on-3 basketball, 5-on-5 basketball, ice hockey, volleyball and indoor soccer.

Clarkson attracts the serious athlete as well. With it nationally recognized NCAA Division I men's and women's hockey teams, and 10 Division III sports, Clarkson owns a rich, competitive athletic tradition.

Pursue your passion in club sports like ultimate Frisbee, cycling, crew, rugby and racquetball. Show off your stick work in roller hockey, shoot hoops in the pool with water basketball or score a touchdown in touch football.  For more information regarding clubs, please visit the CUSA website.

If sports teams are not for you, but fitness is, Clarkson offers top-notch facilities to ensure students can exercise their bodies, as well as their minds. Our Indoor Recreation Center  houses a gym; 25-meter swimming pool; indoor track; a field house for badminton, tennis, volleyball or basketball; racquetball courts; weight room; locker rooms with Jacuzzi and sauna; and a fitness center.
